Reza Rahmaditio
Lead, Critical Minerals, World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia
Reza leads the critical minerals portfolio at WRI Indonesia, where he works to advance responsible mining and processing practices across the sector. His work centres on cross-sector collaboration to strengthen regulatory frameworks and improve industry compliance, combining policy research with capacity building for government and industry stakeholders.
Under this portfolio, he has led the development of the National Nickel Industry Decarbonization Roadmap in partnership with the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas), as well as a study examining gaps between Indonesia's national regulatory framework and international ESG standards for the critical minerals sector, conducted with the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs and the National Economic Council.
Before joining WRI Indonesia, Reza worked as a research consultant on decarbonization and conservation policy for international organizations and government think tanks, including the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Bappenas, and the Low Carbon Development Indonesia (LCDI) initiative.
