Clara Brandi leads the Research Programme “Transformation of Economic and Social Systems” at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) and is Professor of International Economics and Development Economics at the University of Bonn. She has published widely on global economic governance and sustainable development with a focus on the interplay between trade and the environment, paying particular attention to climate change. Prof. Brandi received her PhD from the European University Institute, an MPhil in politics from the University of Oxford, and a Master’s degree in economics from the University of Freiburg. She provides policy advice at national and international levels.
